A former New People’s Army (NPA) member turned over firearms and bomb-making materials on Thursday, March 16, in Camp Col. Jose P. Razon in Barangay Bilaran, Nasugbu, Batangas.
Police said that Edilberto Millejor Sr., alias ‘’Ka Nonoy,’’ surrendered a homemade shotgun, four 12-gauge ammunition, four detonating cords, two blasting caps, two kilos of ammonium nitrate, six plastic containers filled with 1.5 liters of fuel oil, and time fuse.
Millejor presented the war materials to combined personnel of the 2nd Batangas Provincial Mobile Force Company, Nasugbu Municipal Police Station, Provincial Intelligence Unit-Batangas Police Provincial Office, Provincial Intelligence Team Batangas-Regional Intelligence Unit 4-A, Regional Intelligence Division 4-A, 403rd Maneuver Company Regional Mobile Force Battalion 4-A, Army 59th Infantry Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division, Philippine Army, and Philippine Air Force-301st SMG.
The explosive materials will be turned over to the Batangas Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit (PECU) personnel for proper disposition.
In January, Millejor also surrendered a caliber .38 revolver without a serial number loaded with six live ammunition, two rifle grenades, and 40mm ammunition.
