Biz guru Gerry Santos tells youth: 'Failures will make you a successful person'

At a glance

  • "Everybody needs a little luck. Pero hindi ka dapat mawalan ng pag-asa. Failures will make you a successful person.

Part din talaga ng success ang luck pero kung wala kang perseverance or hardwork, wala rin," said Gerry, also known as Mr. Freeze in reference to his successful ice plant business.

Business guru Gerry Santos has encouraged the youth to work hard if they really want to succeed as a businessman.

At the launch of his TV show "Negosyo Goals" on ALLTV held at the Coffee Project in Mandaluyong City recently, Gerry urged young people to persevere in their goals.

"Everybody needs a little luck.

Asked about his business goals these days, Gerry said: "Happiness is contenment.

"Paulit ulit pala. Fifteen seconds na video from 7 am to 7 pm. Take ng take sa shoot.

Lagi kong sinasabi na success is not money. Success is what you have done and accomplished," the businessman said.

Gerry also describes himself as a low-key person.

Wala akong driver. Ayoko talaga ng VIP treatment. Alam ng mga tauhan ko yan at pamilya ko," he said.

"Negosyo Goals" will air every 11:30 a.m. on Sundays starting March 19.

"It is a program for the new generation of Filipino entrepreneurs. It is a quintessential TV show companion that aims to provide viewers and aspiring entrepreneurs' with insight into how to start their own businesses," said Gerry, who has been a businessman

“It is an honor for us to be part of ALLTV which shares the same vision of empowering aspiring Filipino entrepreneurs,” Gerry said.
