Antipolo City LGU partners with NGO to help people with deformities

The Antipolo City government has partnered with the Philippine Band of Mercy (PBM), an non-government organization, to help residents who have physical deformities.
The office of City Mayor Casimiro “Junjun” Ynares, III said the city government and the PBM has agreed to conduct a medical and surgical mission for city residents who have physical conditions such as cleft lip, cleft palate, club or clamp foot and hernia.
Residents who are interested to avail of free surgical procedures may present themselves for screening and assessment on Saturday, March 25, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., at the conference room of the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) Office inside the Gender and Advocacy Building beside the city hall.
Cleft lip or cleft palate surgical procedure is given to children ages three years old and above; clamp or club footed should be seven years old and below; while individuals with hernia should be one year old and above.
