PIAT, Cagayan – Around 4,000 residents of this town benefited from the three-day Serbisyo Caravan of the Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict from March 14 to 16.
Two-hundred forty-six were from Barangay Apayao, Villareyno (238), Calaoagan (270), Minanga (264), Catarauan (256), Villa Rey (322), Warat (220), Maguilling (945), Santa Barbara (485), and Santo Domingo (1,012).
Troops from the 17th Infantry Battalion and the 501st Infantry Brigade rendered free haircut while the dental team of the 5th Infantry Division provided tooth extraction and dental checkup.
Police and the provincial and municipal health officer conducted medical checkup.
The Department Agriculture distributed seedlings and the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency discussed the advantages of a community without any insurgents.
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority and Department of Communications and Information Technology presented their programs and services.
