Spurned fan takes a swing at Bela Padilla: 'Ang sungit...nakaka-disappoint'

A fan took to social media recently to shame actress Bela Padilla. This, for not acquiescing to a photo op with them. In a post, the fan described Bela as rude not only to them but also to many othersÂ eager to have their picture taken with her at the recent concert of British singer Harry Styles. The fan wrote "Ang sungit parang gusto na niyang manapak..." "Nakaka disappoint...bago pa kami lumapit sa kanya pinapanood kung paano siya mang irap at mairita sa mga nag approach sa kanya..."

Bela didn't take it sitting down. She responded, "Pangit mo kabonding. Wala ako inirapan, kahit isa, imbento. Isa ka sa isang libong di napagbigyan. If I didn't TYWK, it was probably because you shoved your phone in my face." But the fan wasn't appeased, going on to continue bashing Bela, insisting that she treated everyone there with contempt. Bela retorted, "Such a lie. I took photos with soooo many people." She added, "May I remind you, I'm a fan who paid for my ticket with NO obligation to take pictures with people who treat me rudely." The exchange earned mixed reactions. Some of the comments: "Patulan ba? Ito naman si Bela gusto rin gumawa ng ingay eh." "Bakit kasi may mga fans na gayan? Hindi lang mapagbigyan nagwawala na? Tama si Bela. Wala siyang obligasyon sa inyo!" "What an entitled fan. Ganito na ba ang mga kabataan ngayon? Hindi lang mapagbigyan magmamaktol na? Isi-shame pa ang sariling idol sa social media? The nerve!" "Bela was there as a fan, not as an artista. Learn to give space. Tao rin sila." "Eh kung pinagbigyan na lang sana kasi wala nang usap."
