Over 25 poor patients in Bulacan get free operations, consultations

More than 25 indigent patients benefitted from the free consultations and operations conducted by Vice Mayor Zar Candelaria in Barangay Poblacion, Calumpit, Bulacan on Wednesday, March 15. Candelaria, a surgeon, said he has been doing free consultations and minor surgeries for more than 20 years to poor Bulakenyos and to communities that have limited or no access to medical services. The operation includes skin tags that are common after midlife in men and women. The vice mayor said the free consultation offers advice to communities and individuals on how to prevent and manage diseases and illnesses. Candelaria said helping and serving people in need have been his advocacy.
