Coby introduces the MID8072 for easy access to Android tablets

It’s been a while since I’ve seen a Coby device. A couple of years back I reviewed a Coby Kyros tablet, which became my main ereader for a couple of months and I’ve been quite satisfied with my experience. Now, it looks like Coby is stepping forward again with one of their newest devices, the MID8072.

The MID8072 features a more modern design and appeal, something you would see in many smartphones today. It looks great and up to date in style. The 10.5-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 1920 by 1200. Powering the tablet is an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via microSD card.

The rear camera has 8MP while the front has 5MP. So if you would be using this making video calls, then you’ve got nothing to worry about as that part is covered quite well.

You should be able to run a certain number of apps with those specs sheet. But if you would be using Coby as an ereader, then you’re pretty much solved. It has 7000mAh battery to fulfill daily usage.

Included in the box are accessories such as impact absorbent case, rotating stand, shoulder strap, and HEXNODE, a device management software.
