Alfred Vargas on 'Pieta' project: 'Thank you, Lord'

Actor Alfred Vargas has been busy shooting for his latest film "Pieta" and he still couldn't believe that he's working with a casting coup led by National Artist Nora Aunor. Aside from Nora, Alfred will show his acting prowess with Gina Alajar, Jacklyn Jose and Bembol Roco. On Instagram, Alfred shared photos with the cast of "Pieta" directed by Adolf Alix Jr. The councilor of Quezon City wrote: "This might be one of the most iconic photos that I’ll ever be a part of. "To be seated alongside three titans of Philippine Cinema ... to be performing with them in PIETA... is a life's honor. "Pangarap ito ng bawat artistang Pilipino. Pangarap ko ito kahit ako ay baguhan pa lamang noon. Natupad na ngayon! Thank you, Lord! Alfred, who is also serving as a producer for the film, explained why he loves acting. "One thing I love about acting is being able to escape the real world and step into someone else’s shoes.
