2 men yield P556,000 shabu, marijuana in Muntinlupa, Pateros
Two men, including a 70-year-old, were nabbed by the police for suspected shabu and marijuana possession in separate buy-bust operations in Muntinlupa and Pateros on March 15.
In Muntinlupa, the Muntinlupa police’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) conducted a buy-bust operation at Baywalk in Barangay Bayanan that resulted in the arrest of Joven Ogaya, 40, and in the confiscation of suspected shabu.

Police operatives seized six plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 50 grams with a value of P340,000 and the P500 bill used as buy-bust money. Ogaya will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Meanwhile, the Southern Police District DEU arrested Estelito Raymundo Sr., 70, in a buy-bust operation along Flores Street in Barangay San Pedro in Pateros.

Raymundo, tagged by the SPD as a high-value individual, yielded four pieces of cling wrapped dried leaves and fruiting tops suspected to be marijuana, weighing 1,800 grams and valued at P216,000, and a P500 bill on top of five P1,000 bills used as boodle money. He will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165.
