Woman accused of murder falls in Biñan after 6 years in hiding

BIÑAN, Laguna – A woman accused of murder and considered one of Laguna’s most wanted persons was arrested during a manhunt operation on Tuesday, March 14. In a statement, the Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the arrested suspect as alias Melanie. Biñan City Police Station (CPS) operatives collared alias Melanie by virtue of an arrest warrant for murder issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 24 in March 2017 without a recommended bail. The accused has been in hiding for more or less six years. She is now under the custody of Biñan CPS.
