Las Piñas LGU conducts youth vaccination drive vs cervical cancer
The Las Piñas City local government conducted simultaneous youth vaccination drives against cervical cancer on Tuesday, March 14.
Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the City Health Office (CHO) team, together with Vice-Mayor April Aguilar, held the vaccination at the Talon Uno Elementary School and CAA Elementary School.

Aguilar said the activity was conducted to give protection to the youth, nine to 14 years old, against cervical cancer as part of the celebration of National Women’s Month.
Around 1,200 young individuals received the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines during the activity.
Aside from the vaccination drive, resource speakers were also invited by the CHO team to educate participants on the importance of receiving jabs against cervical cancer.
