Although she and actor Jake Cuenca were "uncoupled"  just a year ago, beauty queen-actress Kylie Verzosa revealed that she wants her next boyfriend to be financially stable and be able to provide for her.

"At this point in my life, I would want someone to take good care of me because all this time, I've been working so hard on my career," Kylie commented during the media conference of her upcoming movie with Viva Films, "Baby Boy, Baby Girl" with Marco Gumabao which is showing in theaters on March 22.

During the mediacon, Miss International 2016 shared the anecdote about meeting Hollywood actor Steven Seagal, who is 70 years old, during the Distinctive International Arab Awards Awards 2022 where she was named best actress for her role in "The Housemaid."

"We were on the same table as Steven Seagal. I introduced myself as Kylie from the Philippines and he replied that he's always here. Nakipag-friends na sya. Sometimes he calls me (laughs). Joke lang. But yes, we're friends. He broke through my walls. We built a good friendship and until now, once in a while, we still text each other. Very nice guy. Maybe I should invite him to the premiere night?" Kylie said while laughing.

"Baby Boy, Baby Girl"  is a romantic comedy that deals with the phenomenon of sugar dating, an alternative relationship set-up where an older man or woman provides for a  much younger "sugar baby." The film's screenwriter and director, Jason Paul Laxamana, said the plot is based on his own extensive research and real-life examples.

Kylie Verzosa and Marco Gumabao are paired anew in "Baby Boy, Baby Girl," a rom-com movie about a couple of hustlers in sugar dating.

This is the sixth time that Kylie and Marco are paired together in a project. They first worked together in the ABS-CBN series "Los Bastardos" followed by a couple of movies from Viva which includes "Abay Babes," "Parang Kayo, Pero Hindi," "My Husband, My Lover," and  Darryl Yap's "Revirginized,"

Marco bared that he's often teased about Kylie but he replied that it's not possible because he's also close to Jake Cuenca and he respects the both of them. "If I try to court Kylie, my friendship with the two might be broken and that's the least of what I want." At the moment, Marco is reported to be playing sweet music with another Viva star, Cristine Reyes.

Kylie replied: "It's true. Marcos has been a part of my previous relationship. Marco is obviously very attractive (laughs) but we're okay as friends. Our friendship could go places and it's easier for us to work together, to support each other and I'm looking forward to where Marco goes further with his career and personal life."

"Baby Boy, Baby Girl" also stars Giselle Sanchez as Marco's sugar mommy, Rey "PJ" Abellana as Kylie's sugar daddy, Yayo Aguila as Marco's biological mom, Marissa Sanchez, Yen Durano, Migo Valid, Gino Roque, Andrea Babierra, Marnie Lapus and Gary Lim.
