ILOILO CITY – Police arrested three suspected drug pushers and seized shabu valued at P2.47 million in buy-bust operations here.
The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 (Western Visayas) identified the suspects as Gemar Marcelo Gevero, Michael Villanueva Seguiter, and Earl Decla Orbong.
Gevero yielded more than 200 grams of shabu worth P1.39 million.
Confiscated from Seguiter and Orbong was 160 grams of shabu valued at more than P1 million.
Brig. Gen. Leo Francisco, PRO-6 director, lauded the arrest of the suspects, particularly the 35-year-old Seguiter who was listed in the Top 10 priority drug personalities in Western Visayas.
Seguiter and Orbong were apprehended by the PRO-6 Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and Iloilo City Police Office-Molo Station.
Gevero, 35, was nabbed by the ICPO-City Drug Enforcement Unit and ICPO-Arevalo Station. He was listed as a high-value individual.
Suspects face charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
