Trike driver yields 52 grams of shabu in Bacolod raid

BACOLOD CITY -- A tricycle driver who was placed under strict surveillance was arrested after yielding 52 grams of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mansilingan here on Monday, March 13. The value of the confiscated shabu seized from the subject identified as Ian Alindog was P353,600, according to the police. The Special Operation Unit (SOU)-Western Visayas of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) subjected Alindog to a police operation following information about his alleged engagement in illegal drug activity, said Capt. Dax Santillan, head of Police Station 6. Santillan said that Alindog is a high value individual based on the volume of illegal drugs recovered from him. Also confiscated from him were the P3,500 marked money, aluminum foil, and three lighters. He is detained at Police Station 6.
