The most beautiful day in the Philippines is fast approaching. Miss Universe Philippines has already announced the top 40 candidates who will take center stage and who will be vying for the crown come coronation day on Saturday, May 13, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. This year marks a momentous occasion for Miss Universe Philippines because it will be the first time, in the history of the beauty pageant, that mothers will be participating. This unprecedented event is even made more exciting by the candidates' diverse backgrounds.
