It's official: 'The Glory' grabs No. 1 spot as most viewed title on Netflix's weekly top 10 list

The revenge Korean drama “The Glory,” starring actress Song Hye-kyo, emerged as the No. 1 most viewed title for the week based on Netflix’s official top 10 list.  Netflix released its latest weekly Global Top 10 of the most viewed TV shows and movies covering the period March 6 to 12.  Part 2 of “The Glory” was released on March 10, marking the finale of the drama.  Netflix announced that "The Glory" took the No. 1 spot in the non-English TV shows category with 124.46 million hours viewed from March 6 to 12.  "The Glory" was watched for 124.46 million hours on Netflix from March 6 to 12 (Netflix)
According to Netflix, “The Glory” became the most viewed title for the period among all English and non-English shows and movies.  In addition, “The Glory” entered Netflix’s  Non-English TV Most Popular List at No. 9 with 289.24 million hours viewed. The top 10 most popular list is “based on hours viewed in their first 28 days on Netflix.” Based on Netflix’s official numbers, “The Glory” entered the top 10 most watched titles in 79 countries from March 6 to 12.  Of the 79, “The Glory” became the No. 1 most watched title in 23 countries and territories: Philippines, Bolivia, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Morocco, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia,  Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.  The Korean drama also placed in the top 10 in 56 countries and territories: Argentina, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Jamaica, Martinique, Panama, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Egypt, Kenya, Mauritius, Nigeria, Réunion, South Africa, Bangladesh, Cyprus, India, Jordan, Maldives, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Australia, New Caledonia and New Zealand.  Netflix's top 10 most watched non-English TV shows from March 6 to 12 (Netflix)
