600 jobseekers hired on the spot at Parañaque mini job fair
A total of 600 jobseekers were hired on the spot during the mini job fair conducted by the Parañaque City local government on Monday, March 13.
Mayor Eric Olivarez said the the mini job fair catered to the “Juanas” of the city as part of the celebration of National Women’s Month.
Around 28 companies participated in the job fair held at the Parañaque City Sports Complex in Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City.
The program, made in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), offered positions for sales clerk, warehouse clerk, brand ambassador, admin staff, cashier, and sales assistant among others.
The mayor, together with City Treasurer Dr. Anthony Pulmano, also conducted a women workers forum during the fair.
