Joey de Leon pays tribute to Oscar best actor Brendan Fraser who was guest on 'Eat Bulaga' in 1997

Twenty-six years ago, Hollywood star Brendan Fraser thrilled fans when he visited the Philippines to promote his movie, "George of the Jungle." So in 1997, Brendan appeared in the popular noontime program "Eat Bulaga" where he was interviewed by co-hosts Ruby Rodriguez and Christine Jacob. A younger Allan K also entertained the visiting actor by playing monkey. On March 13, Brendan won best actor for the movie "The Whale" where he plays the role of a reclusive teacher who was trying to restore his relationship with his daughter. "EB" host Joey de Leon congratulated Brendan on his victory as he shared a photo of them together taken during the Hollywood star's visit to the show. On Instagram, Joey wrote: "STARZAN and GEORGE of the JUNGLE - Congratulations to my BF, Brendan Fraser for winning the Best Actor award in the 95th Oscars!"
