Ticket bought in Davao del Sur wins Grand Lotto jackpot

A ticket bought in Davao City, Davao del Sur yielded a new Grand Lotto 6/55 millionaire in the evening draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Saturday, March 11. The sole winner won P29.7 million.

Seven players hit the second prize worth P100,000 and 662 bettors got the third prize worth P1,500. Its jackpot was previously won by a bettor from Novaliches, Quezon City on Feb. 27 who took home P75.2 million. Grand Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9 p.m. PCSO reminded that prizes exceeding P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax as per the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law. Also, prizes not claimed within one year after the date of the draw shall be considered forfeited.
