Malabon LGU provides free medical services to 450 residents
The Malabon City local government provided free medical services to 450 residents at the Oreta Sports Complex, Malabon City on Saturday, March 11.
The medical mission, in partnership with Ospital ng Malabon (OsMal), sought to give residents free health services, including minor and major surgery, derma consultation, breast and cervical cancer screening, medical-legal advice, visual screening, and pharmacy services.
The beneficiaries had undergone registration with the officers of the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) assigned in their respective barangays.
The residents were required to bring their valid identification and vaccination cards upon registration.
The city government said the registration was on a first-come, first-served basis.
Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval and OsMal Medical Director Dr. Jennifer Amolo Lim thanked the city departments that helped them provide affordable and high-quality health services to hundreds of beneficiaries.
Other partners of the program were Hospital on Wheels, Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center (JRRMC), Philippine Cancer Society, Integrated Bar of the Philippines, PolyHealth Diagnostic and Laboratory Inc, Rotary Club of Makati, Rotary Club of Makati Premier, Aberdeen Court and (University of Santo Tomas) UST-Sigma Tau Delta or Sorority of Thomasian Doctors.
