Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi was recently asked for his two cents concerning Liza Soberano and her viral tell-all vlog. But will ABS-CBN still be open to working with the latter in the future after she seemingly putting the company in a bad light? Laurenti maintained that ABS-CBN never closed its doors on Liza. "We offered her a lot of projects in the past; and we’ve been really patient - in fairness to management - we’ve been very patient with what the choices she would make. And ultimately, she decided to do international projects," he said. "We wish her well.” As for his message to Liza, Laurenti pointed out, “Marami talagang pinagdaanan yang batang yan. Marami rin siyang responsibilidad sa buhay. Hindi naman naging normal din yun - I think she’s open about it - about her life and about her setup. Marami siyang responsibilidad.
"But just like most of us, hindi naman unique din yung experience ni Liza. Kahit naman ako nung bata. I had my responsibilities. I'm sure all of you. You have your own responsibilities in life. And if opportunities have come to us, choice natin yun," he continued. "Liza is lucky enough to have opportunities presented to her na hindi nape-present sa karamihan na nangangarap na mapabuti ang buhay ng kanilang pamilya, sarili nila." "Remember she's still in her first quarter of her 100 years of  life. Siguro, nagka-quarter life questioning siya, nangyayari naman sa atin yun," he said. And as part of Liza's former home network, Laurenti noted how they allowed her to "explore" and "aspire" for something better for herself. “If that meant moving on to somewhere else, moving to a different territory, let’s just wish her well," he said. “Because her achievements and accomplishments are also an accomplishment for us, especially for those people who helped her in the beginning — sina Ogie (Diaz), the Star Magic family... They would be very happy if Liza attains something that everybody has been aspiring for - which is global stardom.” Laurenti, meanwhile, likened the life of artists to athletes. "If you want to attain excellence, there's something you have to give up," he said. "There's a choice naman, actually, in life. You can go through that hardship earlier on or you go through a difficult life and then later on get into something that will benefit you and your family."
