CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela – The Isabela Provincial Police Office is preparing for the Holy Week to ensure the safety and orderly movement of motorists and commuters.
Isabela police chief Col. Julio Go said 293 policemen and 88 augmentation forces from partner-agencies will be deployed in places of worship, pilgrim sites, major thoroughfares, transportation hubs, commercial areas, tourist destinations, parks, rivers, and resorts.
They will also conduct checkpoint and chokepoint operations, mobile patrols, and beat and foot patrols to ensure maximum police presence in places of convergence vulnerable to illegal activities.
These operations will be coordinated with other concerned law enforcement agencies and LGUs.
