Cong Go devastated by Baguio fire, vows aid to victims

Baguio lone district Rep. Mark Go has vowed to provide financial assistance to the victims of a fire that struck a local public market. "Sobrang bigat at lungkot ang aking nadarama sa pagkasunog ng ating Public Market Block 3 at 4. More than 1,600 ang kababayan nating nasunugan (I feel immense sadness over the razing of our Public Market Block 3 and 4. "Tutulungan natin financially ang mga nasunugan sa lalung madaling panahon (We will give financial assistance to the victims as soon as possible). And thank you to all our fire respondents," added the veteran congressman, who personally went to the scene to check on his constituents. (Facebook)

Go chairs the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education.
