Pasay Mayor Emi dances viral Tiktok hit in Women's Month zumba program
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano danced the popular Tiktok move “Ting Ting Tang Tang” during the “Sayaw-Sayaw Zumba kay Juana” event as part of the local government's National Women’s Month festivities on Saturday, March 11.
Rubiano, along with dance choreographer Joy Collantes and the new generation of Sex Bomb dancers, did the “Ting Ting Tang Tang" dance together with zumba participants at the Pasay City Hall grounds.
Around 1,000 people from the city's different barangays participated in the zumba activity.
Cash prizes were given to the best performers in the event.
Rubiano said the champion of the zumba dance received P20,000. The second placer got P15,000, and the third placer was given P10,000.
A consolation prize of P2,000 was given to each participant of the activity.
Individuals and groups who won for categories such as best in costume, most number of participants, and best female performer received P5,000 each.
Free laboratory test services like ultrasound, x-ray, and electrocardiogram (ECG) were also available at the event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A total of 50 Juanas availed of the free x–ray, while 20 got the ultrasound, and 50 took the ECG test.
Through the special “Ang Kusina ni Mayor Emi” initiative, free food packs containing bananas, eggs, hotdogs, pansit and bottled water were prepared for the participants.
Hygiene kits were also distributed to women who joined the zumba session.
