Marcus Adoro, the lead guitarist of the Eraserheads, has donated a signed portrait of himself as with bandmates Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, and Raymund Marasigan, to help pay for the hospitalization of Parokya ni Edgar guitarist Gab Chee Kee.
On their social media account, Parokya ni Edgar shared the memorabilia will not go into auction.
They will simply give it to the person with the highest offer.
According to a post, Marcus drew the portrait in 2018 and had it signed by each of the Eraserheads just recently.
"Pina-frame pa niya para mas maganda! Perfect for the music fan or art collector," the post added.
"Marami di nakakaalam that Gab is the uncle of Marcus' son, kaya may familial connection sila. Maraming-maraming salamat Marcus sa tulong na ito! God bless you!"
The band revealed that person that offers the highest amount possible by 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, gets the portrait.
The minimum offer is ₱100,000.00.
Those interested could send their offer via email with their details.
Recall that prior a guitar signed by all members of the Eraserheads has been sold for ₱1.3 million as part of the same effort for Gab.
Recently, the band sold the shirt Francis "Kiko" Magalona used on the music video for their well-loved tune "Bagsakan" to an anonymous buyer.
