Man arrested for illegal possession of guns, ammunition in Taguig
A 55-year-old man was arrested after a police search in a house in Taguig yielded guns and ammunition on March 10.Â
Taguig Police Substation 6 personnel implemented a search warrant in a house on Mangustan Street in Barangay Katuparan issued by Judge Byron San Pedro of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 15-FC.Â

Police identified the arrested person as Ronnie Gonzales. The police recovered from the suspect one M3 .45-caliber sub-machine gun made in the US, an M16A1 rifle, one .45-caliber pistol, one SAM Caliber 45 ACP pistol, five 5.56 magazines, two 5.56 magazines, two .45-caliber sub-machine gun magazine, four .45-caliber magazine, one .45-caliber magazine, one suppressor, 500 rounds of 5.56 mm ammunition, 44 rounds of .45-caliber ammunition, four rounds of .38-caliber ammunition and and an ammo box. Suspect is currently under the custody of Taguig police and will be charged with illegal possession of firearms and ammunition or violation of Republic Act 10591.
