'Oplan Galugad' nets 4 persons in Parañaque

Parañaque police arrested four persons who were playing cara y crux (toss coin), one of them was caught in possession of a firearm, early Wednesday morning, March 1.

Police identified the suspects as Arnulfo Zabala, 41; Ken Lloyd Bulawit, 24; Mark Anthony Ygayan, 31; and Carlo Bullecer, 33.

San Dionisio Police Substation operatives arrested the suspects around 12:27 a.m. on Lopez St. in Barangay San Isidro, City.

According to city police chief Col. Renato Ocampo, the cops were conducting "Oplan Galugad" (anti-criminality campaign) when they spotted the suspects playing cara y cruz.

Ocampo said the operatives also recovered from Zabala a .38-caliber revolver with two live ammunition, aside from P350 bet money and P1 coin used as flipper.

The suspects were turned over to the Station Investigation and Detective

Management Section for documentation and filing of charges.
