The phone also comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, IP68 water and dust resistance, and wireless charging. It will be available in Q2 2023 in various color options. The company has also introduced its first foldable phone, the Honor Magic VS, which has a similar design to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series.
It features an inner display that unfolds to reveal an 8-inch tablet-like screen with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels. The outer display is a 6.5-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2700 x 1160 pixels. The phone also has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, an under-display selfie camera on both screens, and a dual-battery system that adds up to 4400mAh.
The phone will be priced at €1,599 for the base model and will be Honor's first foldable phone to be sold outside of China. Both the Honor Magic 5 Pro and Honor Magic VS are set to make waves in the mobile industry, and the launch of these new devices demonstrates Honor's commitment to innovation and delivering cutting-edge technology to its customers.
