The northeast monsoon or amihan may bring cloudy and rainy weather over some parts of Luzon, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday, Feb. 9.

PAGASA said cloudy skies with rains may prevail over Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon.

Those in these areas are warned against possible flooding or landslides during moderate to occasional heavy rains.

PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with monsoon rains may also affect Metro Manila, Western Visayas, and the rest of Luzon.

Meanwhile, Mindanao and the rest of Visayas may have partly cloudy to cloudy weather with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA also advised the public to remain vigilant against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
