11 local tourists injured in road mishap in Benguet

BOKOD, Benguet - Eleven passengers were injured after the vehicle they were riding on turned upside down at Sitio Taal, Bangao, Barangay Ambuklao in Bokod town here on Wednesday, Feb. 8.

Police personnel of Bokod Municipal Police Station immediately responded to the area and brought the victims to Dennis Molintas District Hospital in Barangay Daclan, Bokod. The driver was unharmed.

According to the report, a Baguio City-bound Lite Ace van developed trouble after its brake loosened, resulting in the car bumping the left side of the road and turning upside down.

The 11 passengers who are all residents of Cauayan City, Isabela were hurt.
