Jessy Mendiola, Luis Manzano reveal Baby Rosie a 'cord coil baby'

Isabella Rose, Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano’s newborn, is a “cord coil baby,” meaning the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck.

This was revealed by the first-time parents in “The Birth of Isabella Rose Tawile Manzano,” a YouTube video published recently.

According to the two, they had to schedule a cesarean procedure to assure her safe delivery upon the advice of their doctor.

“Siyempre, ayaw natin i-risk,” said Jessy.

“Since first baby ko, mahirap makalusot si Peanut so may tendency syempre pagpinilit siya lumusot, sisikip ang cord coil nyia so mas mahirapan siya huminga," she added.

It was, of course, a success.

The couple recently showed baby Isabella's face to the public.

The decision came weeks after they welcomed their daughter December last year.

Note the video also showed Luis and Jessy sharing parenting duties.

The baby’s first visitor was her grandma, veteran actress Vilma Santos.

Luis joked, “Kinakabahan ako ah! Parang first time humawak ng bata.”
