Bulacan police seize over P400K worth of illegal drugs; arrest 4


Police confiscated over P400,000 worth of alleged illegal drugs and arrested four drug peddlers in two separate buy-bust operations held in the province of Bulacan on Sunday, Feb. 5.

In a report submitted by Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, to Central Luzon police regional director Brig. Gen Cesar R. Pasiwen, the first two arrested suspects were identified as Marohom Macabantog alias "Ama,” 47, a native of Marawi City, residing in Barangay Tiaong, Guiguinto, and Cesar Pilapil Payao, 58, of Brgy. Santol, Balagtas, Bulacan.

The duo was arrested during a joint buy-bust operation conducted by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU) 3 with the operatives of Guiguinto police. Confiscated from them were five plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated weight of 51.6 grams worth P345,800; one piece of P1,000 marked money, and one brown sling bag.

Personnel of the Marilao police conducted an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay Abangan Norte, Marilao which resulted in the arrest of suspected drug dealers Yoej Vincent Munsayac, 23, single, self-employed, of Barangay Tambubong, Bocaue; and Lian Reyes Alilio, single, self-employed, of Guiguinto, Bulacan, both residing at Sta Rita, Pampanga.

Seized from Munsayac and Alilio were four plastic sachets of shabu weighing 7.5 grams and worth P91,000, and two plastic sachets containing suspected marijuana weighing around 67.4 grams and with an estimated value of P61,100.

Also confiscated from the suspects were P1,500 marked money, boodle money, three smartphones, and a Hyundai Accent.

The suspects were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit.
