Becoming one of the rising artists in this generation, teen stars Jhassy Busran and John Heindrick are marking the scene with their love team "JhasDrick."
In their latest project, "Roommate," Jhassy plays a college student named Natasha, Barry's dream girl. While John plays the character of Barry, a socially-challenged teenage boy, he is coping with the loss of his mother aside from anxiety and depression.
During their Facebook series' grand media press conference at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City last Feb. 4, Jhassy and John opened up on the real deal between them.
"Ang masabi lang po namin talaga is we're both happy kung anong meron kami ngayon, we're enjoying each other's company masaya kami sa individual projects namin and as magpartners," Jhassy said.
(All we can really say is that we're both happy with what we have now, we're enjoying each other's company, we're happy with our individual projects and as partners)
Aside from the Facebook series, the two are also working on their first film, "Home I Found in You," directed by Gabby Ramos.
"Totoo naman yung sinabi niya ehh, happy kami kung anong meron kami, siguro kasi hindi namin masyadong iniisip yan, pero kung tatamaan, tatamaan," John added.
(It's true what he said, we're happy with what we have, maybe because we don't think about it too much, but if it hits, it hits)
Aside from Jhassy and John, "Roommate" also features Earnest Beaver Magtalas as Peter, Barry's alter-ego and hallucination, and MJ Manuel as Steve, Barry’s best friend.
The nine-part series of "Roommate" is available on director Gabby Ramos's official Facebook page.
