CAMP GEN. VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Police Regional Office 4-A (Calabarzon or the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon area) director Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. has ordered a thorough investigation to unmask the drug syndicate behind the three policemen arrested in a buy-bust operation in Cavite last week.

“I already directed the Cavite provincial director to immediately conduct a follow-up operation and thorough investigation to unmask this drug group which involves the active police officers,” Nartatez said.
“I will never let them drag the image of the organization. This illegal act undermines our efforts to combat the drug problem in the country. Such actions are reprehensible and those involved must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law,” Nartatez added.
Nartatez said he would never tolerate misfits and police scalawags in the organization, especially if they are members of the PRO 4-A are involved.
"Members of law enforcement who have been involved in the illegal drugs trade must acknowledge the harm they have caused and take responsibility for their actions. It is never too late to make amends and turn towards a path of righteousness, and we encourage them to seek redemption and atone for their wrongdoing,” he said.
