Parañaque Mayor Olivarez tells seniors to secure booklets for free movies
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez called on all seniors in the city to get movie booklets for free movies.
Olivarez announced on Friday, Feb. 3, the free movies for seniors in the city will resume on Feb. 7 at Cinema 9 of Ayala Malls, Manila Bay at 2:00 p.m.
He said the program, which was suspended for more than two years, is back as part of the 25th Cityhood Anniversary of Las Piñas on Feb.13.
The mayor said all seniors in the city can again start enjoying free movies in all cinemas in the city, specifically at SM Mall and the Ayala Malls, Manila Bay.
Olivarez said free movie days for seniors are every Monday and Tuesday only, and the “one movie a day” policy will be implemented.
He said senior citizens with movie booklets will be revalidated by Office of the Senior Citizens Association (OSCA) through their association presidents.
He added that senior citizens may also drop by at the OSCA at city hall to have their booklet revalidated and secure a new booklet.
