'Dami nakapila': Guanzon worried Palace-created office might coddle 'cronies'

P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon couldn't help but voice out her concern regarding Malacañang's recent announcement that it had approved the creation of a Water Resource Management Office (WRMO).

For Guanzon, such office runs the risk of being filled with administration friends who are otherwise useless to the agency.

"They might pack this Office with incompetent cronies. Dami naka pila (There is a long queue of them)," wrote the outspoken former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner on Twitter.

Guanzon, however, didn't mention anybody that she would consider a "crony" of the current administration.

According to the Malacañang, the WRMO would oversee the country's water resources.

Guanzon supported the presidential bid of former vice president Leni Robredo during the May 2022 national elections. Robredo ended up in second place to the eventual winner, incumbent President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
