2 high-value drug suspects arrested, P523,600 shabu seized in Taguig sting

Southern Police District (SPD) operatives arrested two persons and seized P523,600 worth of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in a buy-bust operation in Taguig on Feb. 3.

According to the SPD, the entrapment operation was conducted at Purok 5 Extension, Barangay Napindan, Taguig at about 1 a.m.

The suspects, Kamarudin Blah, 30, and Joy Ensomo, 34, classified by the SPD as high-value individuals (HVIs), were arrested in the operation.

Operatives seized three plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 77 grams valued at P523,600. They also recovered P16,000 buy-bust money, a car, and a cellular phone.

The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
