Ex-husband charged in influencer Abby Choi's gruesome death

Sad end for aspiring influencer.

Abby Choi was just another 28-year-old making the most of social media, posting glam shots related to her work as model.

She has since earned more than 100,000 followers on Instagram.

Indeed, everything seemed to be going great for her.

Her last post on Feb. 19, featured a photoshoot she had done with fashion magazine L’Officiel Monaco.

But just recently, Abby made headlines.

Police found her dismembered body in a refrigerator in a house rented by his former father in law Kwong Kau in Lung Mei Tsuen, a suburban part of Hong Kong.

Later, authorities made a shocking discovery: Abby's skull stewing in a cooking pot.

Police has since put in custody Kwong Kau, Abby's ex-husband Alex Kwong, Alex's brother Anthony, on a joint murder charge.

The matriarch, Jenny Li, faces one count of perverting the course of justice.

Investigation is still ongoing.

Abby is survived by her four young children and current husband Chris Tam.
