"Eat Bulaga's" "Pinoy Henyo" segment was hot topic on social media recently.

This, after many netizens accused contestants Lyka Alburo and Ryan Oraño of alleged "cheating."

Some even edited footage of the show to show Lyka supposedly mouthing the word "stomach" to Ryan.

Note that the goal of the game is for Player 1 to correctly guess the given word in under two minutes. The word-guesser must ask a series of questions to help him or her find the right answer, while the other player must only reply with "Oo (Yes)," "Hindi (No)," or "Pwede (Maybe/Possibly)."

Lyka and Ryan have since broken their silence, appearing in an episode of "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho."

"Hindi ko po intensyon na sabihin yung word na stomach. Dala lang po ng emosyon, ng intent sa sarili kaya ganoon po nangyari," Lyka explained.

"Pasensya na po kung sa tingin niyo may pandadaya na naganap, pero hindi ko po intensyon na mandaya," she stressed.

Ryan, who was accused of doing the same during the final round, supposedly murmuring the word "Abra," echoed the same thing.

“Hindi po ako aware na nasasabi ko po yung word na yon. Parang nate-tense po ako na sana masabi niya po yung pinahuhula po sa kanya," he said. "Then nung nakita ko po yung video po na yon, nagulat ako kasi nasabi ko po pala unintentionally, kaya inihihingi po namin ng pasensya po."

He then extended their apology to the hosts of the show.

Ryan also assured they're ready to accept the consequences of their actions.

Note that the two won cash during the jackpot round.

A day after the controversy erupted, the hosts of "Eat Bulaga" were heard seemingly alluding to what happened.

Miles Ocampo and Ryan Agoncillo reminded players about the rules of the game.

"Diretsyo lang ang tingin wag sa kung sino man ha," Ryan said.

Miles added: "No coaching!"

She teased: "Dahil kapag nahuli po, susuntukin sa stomach. Susuntukin lang naman, kaya bawal ang coaching, alright?”

A few days later, Joey de Leon also reiterated, "Sa isang laro, ano ang ginagawa mo para mawala yung saya o yung fun? Kapag ikaw ay nandaya! Kapag nagchi-cheating ka sa isang game, wala na yung fun."

Allan K agreed, relating: "Pati ikaw, madi-dishearten sa ginawa mo."

Joey then shared: "Akalain ninyong itong 'Pinoy Henyo,' e, pasukan ng mga mandaraya rin? Kaya inuulit natin, totoo yan, kahit anong laro pa yan, kapag nandaya kayo, wala nang fun!"

"Totoo nga yung pandaraya, may fun, fundaraya. Pero hindi dapat… No cheating. Diretsyo ang tingin."

Jose Manalo, on the other hand, quipped: "Hindi na masaya. Kaya ang dapat sa mga ganyan, hindi namin kayo tatantanan!"

At the latter part, Joey also said: "Naaalala ko lang yung mga nandadaya. Nabanggit niyo yung snake. Ang parusa niyo magiging snake kayo, gagapang kayo gamit ang inyong stomach."
