Police seized a total of P1,190,000 worth of alleged shabu and arrested three men and a woman in two separate buy-bust operations in Quezon City on Monday, Feb. 27, and Tuesday, Feb. 28.
Lt. Col. Robert Amoranto, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Kamuning Station (PS 10) commander, identified the two suspects as Dean Dexter Bohol Bato, 26, and Dexter Gelera Bato, 46, both residents of Bgry. Novaliches Proper, Quezon City.
The suspects were arrested by authorities along Monte Piedad St., Brgy. Immaculate Concepcion, Quezon City at around 10 p.m. on Monday.
Seized from the suspects were around 150 grams of shabu valued at P1,020,000, a cellphone, a Yamaha Aerox motorcycle, a digital weighing scale, and a black sling bag.
Meanwhile, the QCPD Batasan Station (PS 6) led by Lt. Col. Morgan Aguilar, confiscated more or less 25 grams of shabu valued at P170,000.00, in another buy-bust operation along IBP Road Pook Pag-Asa, Brgy. Batasan Hills, Quezon City on Tuesday.
The suspects were identified as Ma. Cristina Sy, 43, of Brgy. Payatas A, Quezon City, and Musa Bansil, 25, and a resident of Brgy. Gadungan, Talitay, Maguindanao. They were arrested at around 2:10 a.m.
Also seized from the suspects were a black coin purse, a cellphone, and the buy-bust money.
All the suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
