K-pop artist Hwang Min-hyun releases debut solo album 'Truth or Lie'

K-pop artist Hwang Min-hyun (황민현), former member of NU’EST and Wanna One, has released his much-awaited album “Truth or Lie,” signaling the start of his career as a solo artist.

“Truth or Lie” showcases six tracks that explore the new facets of Hwang Min-hyun, with each song corresponding to a different version of himself. In revealing previously undiscovered sides of himself, the question of what is true about him is left up to the audience to decide.

Hwang Min-hyun spent 10 years as a member of NU’EST and during this time, he also delved into acting.

The key message of “Truth or Live” is exemplified in the lead single “Hidden Side,” which invites listeners to not only discover Hwang Min-hyun’s many sides but to ultimately “possess” them all. Composed of a unique blend of pop, R&B and hip hop influence, the album presents a wider range of his musical hues with a striking delivery of emotions.

Hwang Min-hyun is set to connect with fans shortly after the release of his album through a live fan showcase on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel and global fandom platform Weverse at 8 p.m. KST.

“Truth or Lie” is now available on all global streaming platforms, along with the music video for “Hidden Side” on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel.
