MB Daily News Update: Percy Lapid gunman surrenders to PNP

The self-confessed gunman in the killing of broadcaster Percy Lapid was presented to media after he surrendered to the Philippine National Police (PNP), revealing who his cohorts were and who paid them to pull off the assassination of the radioman.

It will be a long weekend as Filipinos plan their All Saints’ Day sojourn after President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. declared Dec. 31, 2022, a Monday, as a non-working holiday.

Meanwhile, Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla disclosed that he has yet to talk to his son since he was busted with P1.5 million worth of high-grade marijuana.

In the same press conference, Remulla also said the Bureau of Immigration (BI) will start deporting foreigners found to be working in illegal Philippine off-shore gaming operations (POGOs) on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022.
