Here's Imee's message on 37th EDSA People Power anniversary
"Together, as one nation, let us go forth to transform this poor and unjust country into a Philippines that is, truly and finally, for all Filipinos."

Senator Imee Marcos, daughter of the late President Ferdinan Marcos Sr., issued this statement in observance of the 37th anniversary of the EDSA People Power revolution.
‘’The events of Feb. 25, 1986, 37 years ago, changed our minds, hearts, and lives in ways too many to mention,’’ she said.
‘’Beyond the fleeting euphoria of 'People Power', we must learn our lessons well: That neither a peaceful relinquishment of power, nor what might have been brutal military adventurism, nor the endless clashes of elites behind the scenes has fulfilled the promise of change for millions of Filipinos who are still living in squalor and insecurity, ignorance and hunger,’’ she added.
