Operatives of the Bulacan police dismantled two alleged drug dens and arrested 33 persons for various offenses in the province on Thursday, Feb. 23, and Friday, Feb. 24.
In a report submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the drug dens were located in Barangay Balayong, Malolos City and in San Martin IV, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM).
The operations also led to the arrest of eight drug suspects and the recovery of 16 sachets of "shabu" worth of P41,200, assorted drug paraphernalia, and marked money.
Meanwhile, two suspected drug peddlers, identified as Kenneth Abutal and Gilbert Diez alias "Mandirigma," were also arrested in Barangay Lawa by the operatives of the Meycauayan City police.
Seized were three sachets of suspected shabu worth P15,000, a cal .38 revolver, and marked money.
A series of buy-bust operations conducted on Feb. 23 by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of San Rafael, Bocaue, Hagonoy, Sta. Maria and Plaridel led to the apprehension of seven drug dealers and in the confiscation of 28 sachets of suspected shabu and marked money.
A series of hot pursuit operations by tracker teams from the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), CSJDM, Meycauayan City, Norzagaray, San Ildefonso, Hagonoy, Malolos City, Plaridel, Bocaue, Balagtas, and Obando police resulted in the successful arrest of 16 persons wanted for various criminal offenses.
