
The Philippines still logged less than 1,000 cases of Covid-19 on Thursday, Nov. 3.
Based on the Department of Health's (DOH) data, a total of 782 new Covid-19 infections were recorded. This was the third straight day that the country recorded fewer than 1,000 cases.
The tally of active cases nationwide was at 18,392.
Metro Manila still registered the highest number of cases in the recent two weeks with 4,355 cases, the DOH data showed.
It was followed by Calabarzon with 2,624, Western Visayas with 1,577, Central Luzon with 1,536, and Davao Region with 1,077.
With the newly recorded cases, the country’s caseload jumped to 4,006,635, including 3,926,064 recoveries and 64,179 fatalities.
The country's healthcare utilization rate remains at low risk with 23.8 percent hospital bed occupancy.
