Parts of Quezon City, Valenzuela to experience power interruptions

The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced that some parts Quezon City and Valenzuela will experience power interruptions starting May 19 due to scheduled maintenance works.

Areas that will be affected by the power outage between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on May 19 and between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on May 20 are the following:

-Portion of Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) from Corregidor St.

-Portions of barangays Apolonio Samson, Bahay Toro and Bago Bantay.

-Portion of Abra, Corregidor, Bukidnon and Ilocos Sur Sts. from Congressional Ave. to and including Iloilo, Samar, Albay, Balayan, Davao, Fort Santiago, Pangasinan, Taal, Cotabato, Ilocos Norte, Camarines, Isabela, Antigue, Cagayan and Laguna streets.

Power outage will occur between 11:00 p.m. on May 19 and 5:00 a.m. on May 20 in these areas:

- Portion of EDSA from Misamis St. to and including Toyota North EDSA and Quezon City Academy in Barangay Bago Bantay.

-Portion of Misamis St. from Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) to and including Pampanga and Nueva Vizcaya streets.

On May 21, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., power cutoff will hit the following places:

-Portion of Kalantiaw St. from Zobel St. to V. Luciano St. including Gen. Santos and Tamblot Sts. in Bgy. Masagana.

-Portion of Zobel St. from Kalantiaw St. to and including D. Silang and Conchu Sts. in Bgy. Masagana.

-Portion of J. P. Rizal St. from Diego Silang St. to V. Luciano St. including L. Rivera, Conchu, S. Rizal and Inocencio Sts. in Bgy. Masagana.

- Portion of Rajah Matanda St. from Kalantiaw St. in Bgy. Masagana to Katipunan Ave. in Bgy. Milagrosa.

-Portion of Tomas Mascardo St. from Rajah Matanda St. to and including P. Tecson St. in Bgy. Villa Maria Clara.

-Portion of J. Ocampo St. from A. De Legaspi St. in Bgy. Milagrosa to Alvarez St. in Bgy. Villa Maria Clara.

-Portion of J. P. Rizal St. from Delos Reyes St. in Bgy. Milagrosa to J. Bracken St.; and Iglesia Ni Cristo - Lokal ng Project 4 in Bgy. Villa Maria Clara.

Between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. on May 20 to 21, the following areas will experience power interruption:

-Portion of P. Deato St. from Kapitan Vililia St. to near Valeriano St. including A. Deato Subd. in Bgy. Balangkas, Valenzuela City.

-Along Sampaguita St. from Balangkas Bukid Subd. to Jasmin St. including Cadena De Amor, Aratilez and Balimbing Sts. in Bgy. Balangkas, Valenzuela City.

-Portion of Kabesang Imo St. from Ilang–Ilang St. to near Magnolia St. in Bgy. Balangkas, Valenzuela City.
