DOH reports 1,370 new Covid-19 cases

The Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday, Oct. 30, reported 1,370 new Covid-19 cases across the country.

Based on the latest case update, the number of active cases nationwide was at 20,824.

Confirmed Covid-19 cases in the Philippines have increased to 4,003,459. This figure includes 64,033 fatalities while 3,918,602 patients were able to recover from the viral disease.

The regions with the highest cases in the past 14 days were still the same--National Capital Region with 5,401, Calabarzon with 3,307, Central Luzon with 1,935, Western Visayas with 1,717, and Davao Region with 1,186.

The healthcare utilization rate remains at low-risk as hospital bed occupancy was at 24.1 percent.
