Busy day for Bongbong as 4 envoys slated to make joint courtesy call

It will be a busy Monday for presumptive president Bongbong Marcos as he is expected to receive four diplomats from four important trade partner-nations of the Philippines in a joint courtesy call.

The courtesy call, to be held at the BBM headquarters in Mandaluyong city from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. will carried out by the following: Japanese Ambassador Koshikawa Kazuhiko, South Korean Ambassador Kim Inchul, Indian Ambassador Shambhu Kumaran, and United States (US) Chargé d’Affaires Heather Variava.

A media advisory sent by the Marcos camp to reporters on Sunday night bared that the courtesy call to the incoming president would be "closed door", meaning there will no media practitioners allowed inside.

However, the reporters were promised to have access for interviews from the diplomats after their three-hour meeting with Marcos.

Also expected to be known Monday is the new spokesperson of Marcos, after lawyer Vic Rodriguez stepped down from this position.

Earlier Sunday, Rodriguez accepted his nomination to become the executive secretary of the incoming Marcos administration.
