5 drug pushers nabbed, P558,000 shabu seized in Iloilo City

ILOILO CITY – Police arrested five suspected drug pushers and seized a total of 80.5 grams of shabu worth P558,000 in buy-bust operations here on Wednesday, Feb. 22, and Thursday, Feb. 23.

High-value individual Danilo Juanillo Ardonia was arrested on Thursday after he sold suspected shabu worth P35,000 to a police poseur-buyer in Barangay Mohon, Arevalo District. Ardonia yielded a total of 65 grams of shabu worth P442,000.

Jeffrey Clemacosa Glorioso and Ann Tubeza Surmaco were apprehended in Molo District. Confiscated from them were suspected shabu valued at P74,000.

Jevy Peñaverde Hemor was nabbed in Barangay San Jose after peddling suspected shabu to an undercover lawman. Recovered from Hemor were four sachets of shabu worth P8,000.

Benjie Gella, 36, was arrested in Mandurriao District and he yielded suspected shabu worth P34,000.
