Vinas Deluxe brings campy vibe in 'I'm Feeling Sexy Tonight' music video

Entering her new era as a recording artist, Drag Pop Misis Viñas Deluxe gives a playful and colorful vibe in the newly dropped music video of her debut single “I’m Feeling Sexy Tonight.”

The multi-hyphenate drag queen who earned the public’s attention when she joined RuPaul’s “Drag Race Philippines” last year donned over nine fabulous outfits that matched the video’s vibrant settings where she is joined by her fellow drag queens.

Viñas also served as the music video producer, alongside Tarsier Records, and creative director Ejay Dimayacyac directed the video.

First released in 1983 by Chona Cruz, “I’m Feeling Sexy Tonight” explores the theme of self-love and breaks the norm of what sexy should be. In the remake produced by Theo Martel and Moophs, Viñas delivers an edgier, drag-pop version that encourages listeners to celebrate and be proud of themselves.

“I’m releasing this song now dahil ngayon ko na-feel na mas empowered ako. Ngayon ko nafi-feel na mas sexy ako kahit may nagme-message sa’kin at may mga nagba-bash sa shape ko. Ngayon ko siya ilalabas para maka-inspire at maka-empower ako ng ibang tao,” Viñas shared.

Dubbed as the ‘pambansang bunganga’ and a ‘campy queen’ Viñas is known for both her comedic side and also her artistry in designing her outfits. She is set to play a role in the ABS-CBN series “Drag You and Me” which stars Andrea Brillantes and other well-known drag artists such as Precious Paula Nicole, Brigiding, and Xilhouette.
